The price of fuel was $3.07 per gallon as reported on Monday, November 1, 2010 making the upcoming FSC rates for the period 11/15/10 through 12/14/10 as follows:

As we posted earlier…, there is a lot of uncertainty about the process of issuing payee codes, but some progress is being made to clarify the way this will be handled in the future.  DFAS has decided they will no longer issue or maintain the payee codes used by TSPs for payment of electronic HHG invoices.  The US Bank  system still needs a payee code, but they don’t want to be the entity managing payee codes.

Other than those two pieces of information, TSPs have not had a lot of information about this change, and the result is a lot of confusion about what change has actually occurred and what it means to TSPs.

A few years ago we blogged… about invoices for Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) shipments being payable through PowerTrack/Syncada. When that announcement was made, there were specific codes of service or shipment types that were being processed for payment through PowerTrack. A few weeks ago, we wrote… about the delays with invoices processing to payment in PowerTrack. Initially, users were having problems getting with PowerTrack accepting manual and electronic updates to existing invoices in PowerTrack. The issue with making manual updates has been corrected, however, to date, we are still unable to submit a corrected invoice to electronically make changes to a previously submitted invoice. We have been in contact with PowerTrack/Syncada daily and understand they have escalated the issue, but

We were advised by Syncada/PowerTrack mid-week last week that invoices previously submitted to PowerTrack that had changes or corrections made to them in PowerTrack last week, either manually through the PowerTrack User Interface, or electronically via EDI, were not maintaining the updates that had been made.
