Rate Increase for Plasma TV Cartons

Late last week SDDC released Change 4 to DS08 to increase the rate of the recently added Plasma TV Cartons… from $65 to $105 per carton.
We have heard nothing further in regards to the progress of adding the new items for the Plasma cartons to the item codes spreadsheet for electronic billing and are currently billing for these cartons using the interim billing solution released earlier. We will keep you posted as details are released.

CWA Help Desk Email is Down

We received confirmation from a representative of SDDC that the CWA Help Desk email contact is not working at this time. We are not sure how long it has been down, but assume that it is related to the recent transition of the Help Desk to the SDDC Systems Response Center… earlier this month.

CWA Invoice Rejections

We have received questions from many of you this week regarding the rash of CWA invoice rejections that some TSP’s are experiencing on current invoices. We have been told by representatives of PowerTrack (PT) that the recent rejections are due to new validation checks that CWA implemented in the last few weeks.

Last week SDDC released “Change 3 to DS08″… to add the verbiage for billing of the Corrugated Cartons for Flat Screen Televisions. The change provided the item code, billing guidelines and the applicable rate to bill for the cartons. The recent “News You Can Use” Newsletter and email correspondence we have received from CWA/SDDC has had the following message regarding the new SDDC Systems Response Center included. The message reads as follows:

Update to Payment Delays

Early last week we blogged… regarding the payment delays experienced on PT/Families First shipments. We have received word from a representative of the CWA help desk that the rating issues that were being experienced on LHS charges for International invoices has been resolved.
We have rebilled the majority of the invoices that were affected by the rating issues over the last few weeks, using the Misc item code, for those invoices that we handle the PT/CWA Follow-up service for. We

We wanted to take a moment to update you on the payment delays with PowerTrack payable shipments that we had blogged about earlier.


LHS Rating Issues –
We received the following information from the CWA Help desk on Friday regarding the LHS rating issues:

Dear Customer,
Many customers for CWA has experienced problems with Linehaul charges being denied with the CE07 Service Rate Error. This is a problem with our TOPS-CWA costing engine software. 3000+ have had denied line-haul charges.

Payment Delays

We wanted to alert you to a couple of issues that may be resulting in payment delays with current Families First invoices payable by PowerTrack (PT).

LHS Rating Issues – Over the last week there has been a growing number of International HHG invoices that have gone into Audit Exception in PT due to CE07 rating errors in CWA. CE07 rating errors mean that the CWA rating engine was unable to identify the rate area to correctly rate the invoice. …
