PCMiler 25.1 Delay

On October 1st, in conjunction with the DOD release of the newest version of DTOD (Defense Table of Official Distances), ALK Technologies released its newest version of PCMiler, version 25.1. PCMiler is the commercial version of governments DTOD and is currently used for figuring Conus miles for all TOPS shipments, Conus miles for DPS International shipments, and mileage for DPS Domestic (400NG) shipments that require mileage calculations for locations within the same ZIP3.

Are you a Trusted User?

TSPs recently received notification that as commercial users within ETA (Electronic Transportation Acquistion), they must validate all ETA login ID’s associated with their SCAC annually, in order for those logins to remain active. The notification was sent via email to the CEO or Trusted Agent (TA) for each TSP.
Attached to the notification was a letter that provided a list of ETA login ID’s (including the users name, email, organization, and user role) that the TSP is responsible for validating.…

SDDC Changes Rule Regarding Shipment Refusals

Late last Friday, SDDC issued the below message, that in their words was intended to clarify what they now consider a shipment refusal and what is considered a turnback. In their intent to clarify the difference between a refusal and a turnback, they have changed policy that was tweaked last month… to allow a limited number of shipment refusals or turnbacks by a TSP per GBLOC for the time period of May 15 – July 31.

We recently received an email from the DFAS-Indianapolis Transportation Payment Office advising of a change to their customer service email address. The previous customer service email address, Dtp.customer.service.dfas-in@dfas.mil, will be deactivated and is being replaced by the new email address for the payment office, DTPCustomerService@DFAS.MIL. CWA Invoicing Delays

We recently posted regarding the rating issue affecting item 513A for fuel surcharge billed on International HHG and UB DPS shipments.   The number of shipments affected by this rating error continued to steadily climb over the last few weeks.
