Why Is It So Hard to Build DPS?

TOPS Budget Slated for Elimination(Again)

Are you a Trusted User?

TSPs recently received notification that as commercial users within ETA (Electronic Transportation Acquistion), they must validate all ETA login ID’s associated with their SCAC annually, in order for those logins to remain active. The notification was sent via email to the CEO or Trusted Agent (TA) for each TSP.
Attached to the notification was a letter that provided a list of ETA login ID’s (including the users name, email, organization, and user role) that the TSP is responsible for validating.…

DOD Continues to Increase Investment in DPS

For the past two years, we have tracked the amount of money the Department of Defense is spending on the Defense Personal Property System (DPS). After some delay due to the budget impasse in Congress, the new budget numbers for DPS have been released on the Federal IT Dashboard…. It shows that the DOD is continuing to increase its annual investment in the DPS computer system.

DPS Short Fuse “Hit” Defined by SDDC

In the most recent News “U” Can Use… newsletter, SDDC gave further guidance about the click count limitation on the short fuse page. The article clarified the 50 hits per TSP per hour limitation by defining what constitutes a “hit” on the short fuse page.
According to the newsletter, a short fuse hit consists only of going to the short fuse front page. Any other clicks on that page, for example to accept a short fuse shipment, will not count

Million Dollar Audit Exception Problem Fixed; Rating Errors Return to Hiding

We received notification from US Bank this morning that the software fix for the audit exception problem… was successfully installed last night. It appears to have rectified the problem of invoices being held in audit exception status when DPS rated the invoices higher than the TSP invoice amount. This morning, we are seeing the number of invoices in audit exception rapidly decline.
This was welcome news, since we had reached over one million dollars of invoices affected by this problem.

Audit Exception Change Continues to Cause Cash Flow Problems

Last week, we noted the update that SDDC had published…, covering a few different problems in DPS invoicing. The problem that caused the most concern was an Audit Exception error in the US Bank Payment system. Unfortunately, that problem has still not been repaired, and the number of invoices affected is starting to climb.

SDDC Continues Game of Musical Websites
