SDDC Issues Notice on DPS Rating Problems

This morning, SDDC sent out a notice to TSPs… concerning some DPS rating issues. It specifically addressed known rating problems with LHS, 105J (400NG – Storage Inspection Fee), 105A (400NG – Full Pack/Unpack), and 513A (IT – Fuel Surcharge).

DPS Report Highlights Efforts to Improve DPS System Performance

In wrapping up our recent series on DPS System Problems (see full list of articles here), we mentioned that DPS performance had been improving. The May DP3/DPS Monthly Activity Report…, recently released by JPMO-HHGS, details some of the efforts that were made during the previous month to improve the DPS system performance.
The report notes the problems with the system during the month of May. DPS  up-time was 95% for the month, below their stated goal of 98%.

USTRANSCOM Releases Responses to Phase III Comments

In today’s Federal Register, USTRANSCOM  released the responses to the comments received on the DP3 Phase III Business Rules. As a reminder, these business rules were released in the spring of 2010, and cover Non-Temporary Storage and the new dS2 (Domestic Small Shipments) moves.

SDDC Allows Unlimited Shipment Refusals During Peak Season

In another effort to maximize the full industry capacity during this busy peak season, SDDC has expanded on some earlier changes to the business rules for a limited time. Earlier this week, they released a message… (pdf link) announcing that TSPs will be able to refuse an unlimited number of shipments from now until July 31, 2011.

Recently we posted about the newly imposed click count limitations in relation to their effect on web bots. However, it is important to remember that these click count limitations do not only apply to web bots, they are on all user accounts.
