Tariff Updates for DS10

Our billing program and AccuBill have recently been updated with the DS10 changes found in the D-18 Solicitation that went into effect for Domestic shipments with pickup dates of 5/1/10 and after.

The changes are as follows:

DOM – new tariff updates (D-18)

1.  Updated SIT first day and Warehouse Handling Rates for all States – Item 400 listing of all States, Counties, Rates, etc.

2.  Incorporated the following Regionalization consolidations:

a. Georgia – Transferred responsibility of CFAK to CHAT

b. New Jersey.  Made typographical correction from AGAC to AONL/AOAC

c. Tennessee – Transferred responsibility of CFAK to CHAT

3.  Item 402, Packing and Unpacking, Added Mattress Bag to 100J thru 100M and new verbiage to Note 3 and 4.  Note 3 is in regards to mattress bags only to be used when a direct delivery.  Note 4 is in regards to Third Party Service for crating is not authorized.  TSP must bill under appropriate Item Code 100Q or 100R for crates.  If TSP uses TPS to build the crates, TSP can only bill using Item Codes 100Q or 100R.

4.  Item 402, Packing and Unpacking, Increased 100Q and 100R baselines (crates).

5.  Item 421, Household Appliances, Added new Item Code 135E for Washer (Front Load) as well as   verbiage to related Paragraphs.  Flat rate of $75.00 applies.

Programming note:  SDDC has not updated CWA Item Code Spreadsheet with this new Item Code’s Billing Codes so no programming has been able to be accomplished for this Item Code at this time.

6.  Item 430, Items Excluded from Rate Percentage Applications, Added 100Q and 100R to list of  Item Codes excluded from the Rate Percentage).

7.  Appendix 4E-3 contained updated Pickup or Delivery Rates but this change was not noted on the ‘Summary of Changes’ Tariff sheet.  CONUS SIT Delivery related rates increases Schedules A through R.
