Planning Underway for Next Daycos Webinar

Update: Due to a scheduling conflict, the webinar will now be held on Tuesday, May 25th at 1 PM Central. Registration information will be posted next week.

Last month, we conducted our first ever webinar, covering the 400NG Linehaul calculation. Our idea was to try the webinar format and see if it was something we would to continue to offer. After having a few weeks to review the outcome of the first webinar, it has become clear to us that we should continue conducting webinars, and we are already making plans for our next one.

The initial response to our first webinar was overwhelming. We had the capacity for 100 registrants, which we thought would be much more than needed. After a few days we were over 80 people signed up, and we ended up using every one of the available spots. More important were the results of a post-webinar survey that we conducted. Our webinar participants rated the webinar a 4.6 for effectiveness (on a scale from 1-5), and 94% of participants stated that they would be “very likely” to attend a future Daycos webinar.

In light of the interest level and positive feedback, we felt we should offer another webinar. Tentatively scheduled to be held May 18th 25th, at 1 PM Central time, our next webinar will cover the  changes to the DPS 400NG and International Tender that will take effect withe the new rate cycle on  May 15th. We will try and outline what billing changes are needed due to the updated in tariffs.

Formal notification and registration will be forthcoming in a couple of weeks, but we wanted to give some advance notification so people could keep their calendar free if they are interested in participating. Our intent is to try and offer 3 or 4 webinars a year, so we normally won’t hold two webinars so close to each other. However, in light of the upcoming busy season, and the timeliness of the topic, we felt mid April was the right time to hold this event. We will probably not conduct another webinar until the fall.
