JPMO-HHGS Shares “WAR” Report with TSPs
For the past few weeks, JPMO-HHGS has shared their DPS Weekly Activity Report with members of the TSP User Group. The WAR report, as it is known, outlines activities from the previous week related to the fielding of the DPS computer system. JPMO-HHGS has been creating this report for some time for the Services, but have only recently decided to share with the TSP community. We appreciate this increased sharing with Industry, and believe it can only help to improve communication. Here are some highlights from the most recent WAR report:
- Release 1.4.01: Content being tested by JPMO test team. We’re coordinating a couple minor fixes to issues found during Services testing. Key issues will be fixed by SRA, the developer, prior to 1 Apr. Content includes PPM, BlueBark, improved CSS (email with direct linked survey), interim excess cost, ship to other than authorized location, additional pickup, and a number of software fixes (SPRs). Into production 1 Apr–13 days. ON TRACK… (from 3/20 WAR Executive Summary by Col. Miller)
- Services DPS Participation for this week: Air Force 34%–highest ever; Army 20%; Coast Guard 20%; Marine Corps 27%; and Navy 31%. USAF tops this week with Navy and Marine Corps, right behind. Combined 26% in DPS vs. TOPS this week. (from 3/20 WAR Executive Summary by Col. Miller)
- On the morning of 16 Mar, DPS users experienced degraded access to DPS for approximately 5 hours and eventually no ability to login for two hours–total of 7 hours impaired access. The issue impacted new users trying to login to DPS after an ETA hardware upgrade action the previous evening. The upgrade provides additional capacity and capability for DPS and other ETA users in the coming months. The ETA authentication servers were not communicating with the DPS system. Once this was identified, system restoral occurred. (from 3/20 WAR Engineering Report by Ralph Meacham)
- DPS Performance update. This weekend, 21 Mar 10, DISA DECC Ogden will deploy the first of several hardware additions to DPS production. This will add additional capacity to the DPS system front end. This is in preparation for PPM rollout and the coming summer peak season. Additional hardware updates will continue over the next several weeks. (from 3/20 WAR Engineering Report by Ralph Meacham)
- CSS: CSS 12.54% and iCSS 25.32% (from 03/18/09 through 03/17/10) for a total response rate of 22.33%. Response rates for February 2010 were: iCSS 36.64%, CSS 16.87%, Total 30.83%. Improved DPS CSS into prod 1 Apr 10. (from 3/20 WAR Customer Satisfaction Survey Report by Mike Dobbs)
