Delays with DFAS-Indy

We have received the following correspondence several times over the last week when contacting DFAS-Indy personnel:

This email is to inform you that due to shortage of personnel in the customer service department we are behind on our turn-over for normal response time. Therefore please be advised that we re respond as soon as possible and we ask the you indulge us with your patience. Thank you in advance.

The slower turn around time has not contributed to any delays in payments being made on invoices submitted to DFAS-Indy via EDI. Delays can be expected for example, when requesting payment information or asking for billing information to be updated per a correction notice. We will continue to monitor the situation while working with DFAS personnel to ensure that further delays are not experienced.
