It's a Boy!!

A great big Congratulations is extended to Amy & Mike Himburg, as they have a new little addition to their family! Kayden Michael Himburg was born this morning, April 27th, here in Norfolk. He weighed 7 lbs, 9 oz, and was 19.75 inches long.
Amy is an Auditor in our Production Department here at Daycos. She and her husband Mike, along with Kearra (8), anxiously welcome Kayden into their family.

Each year the local elementary schools invite students to create an advertisement for their parents’ place of employment, and then the local business can pay to have them published in a special section of the local newspaper. Update on DPS Technical Difficulties

UPDATE (4/22/09) - The technical issue has been resolved and we are now able to access invoices in DPS. We are working through the backlog of invoices for our billing customers that require attention through our follow-up service and hope to be current by the end of this week.
Thanks again for your patience while we worked through this issue with the DPS, SDDC and JPMO-HHGs staff.

Cancellation of JPPSO-COS Regional Industry Meeting

Daycos received official notification that the JPPSO-COS Regional Industry Meeting scheduled for May 13-14, 2009, at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado has been cancelled due to high operations tempo/reduction in industry registrations. The good news is that JPPSO-COS anticipates a combined HQ Personal Property Agency meeting scheduled for Fall 2009. Further details regarding this meeting will be provided at a future date.…

Tariff Updates for IS09

Our billing program and AccuBill have recently been updated with the IS09 changes found in the I-22 Solicitation that went into effect for International shipments with pickup dates of 04/01/09 and after.
The changes are as follows:

INT/BAG – new tariff updates (I-22)
A. CONUS SIT related rates increases.
B. INT reweigh to 60.33 was 59.60.
C. BAG reweigh to 27.17 was 26.84.

Notices of Overcharge Being Issued on DPS Shipments

It is our understanding that GSA/Mid-South has recently started issuing Notices of Overcharge (NOC) on invoices for DPS shipments.
