Alaska Invoicing in DPS

We have received a lot of questions lately about the status of the DPS invoicing problems with Alaska. Many TSPs are under the impression that the invoicing problems with Alaska under the 400NG have all been corrected in DPS. Unfortunately, that is not the case. We have yet to get a single Alaskan LHS line item to rate in the DPS test engine. SRA has worked through multiple problems to get it working, and have thought they had the problem fixed many times, but each time an additional error has caused a problem.

Currently, SRA is working on a problem with the EDI mapping requirements, which are unique to Alaska. The latest update we have is that they plan on deploying a patch on Friday, March 27th to the DPS test system which they hope will correct the problem. If that patch is deployed as scheduled, we will be testing Alaska invoices again next week. Hopefully we will be able to successfully rate an Alaskan LHS invoice, and then they can roll that patch out to the DPS Production server.
