Sue Fuchtman, the Mayor of Norfolk, Nebraska

Update: Here is a link to the story of Sue’s election from our local newspaper.
Also, here is a picture from the newspaper of Sue’s victory party.

Yesterday the voters of Norfolk overwhelming elected our own Sue Fuchtman as mayor. Sue captured 64% of the vote in defeating her opponent to become the first female mayor in the history of our city.

Sue wanted to express her appreciation to all of her friends in the industry that have been so supportive and encouraging in this race.

We will post updates later today with some pictures from the victory party, as well as some clippings from our local newspaper.

Congratulations, Sue! Job well done! I am so glad that there are still some Americans who know how to vote for a qualified person! Remember that Sara Palin started out as a Mayor. Just think Sue, some day the governor of Nebraska and then upward and onward!
