First DPS Invoice Arrives In DPS

Earlier this morning, the first DPS invoice showed up in the DPS system, and it is now awaiting approval from the PPSO. As you might imagine, normally it should not take two days from the time of submission for an invoice to show up in DPS. The invoice was “lost” for a little while, and it took some work to track down the problem.

When it didn’t show up in DPS, we started tracing the invoice. We eventually confirmed that PowerTrack received it and sent it to GEX, that GEX received it and sent it to DPS, and that DPS received it. However, it was not able to be viewed in DPS by ourselves, the TSP, or the PPSO. SRA was able to determine that they had a configuration problem on the side of DPS that was causing the problem. They fixed that issue, but then the invoice had to be resent by GEX, which was done earlier this morning. Once the invoice was resent by GEX, it showed up in DPS for all to see.

Not a perfect start to the first DPS invoice, but at least the invoice is in DPS and ready for action by the PPSO. We will continue to update its progress.
