Tariff updates – DOM for DS08

Our billing program and AccuBill have recently been updated with the DS08 changes found in the D-14 Solicitation that went into effect for Domestic shipments with pickup dates of 05/01/08 and after.

The changes are as follows:

DOMESTIC – New Tariff Updates (D14)

All LHS Percentages are entered into Accubill for Domestic for effective date of 05-01-2008.

Other tariff updates include:

A. Incorporated the following Air Force Regionalization consolidations:

1. North Carolina – Transferred responsibility of BMFL to AGFM(JPPSO NE – Massachusetts)
2. Ohio and Indiana – Transferred responsibility of ELFL to AGFM(JPPSO NE – Massachusetts)
3. South Carolina – Transferred responsibility of CEFL to AGFM(JPPSO NE – Massachusetts)
4. Mississippi and Alabama – Transferred responsibility of FMFL to HAFC(JPPSO – San Antonio)
5. Georgia and Florida – Transferred responsibility of CFFQ,CKFL to HAFC(JPPSO – San Antonio)

All the rest of the listed ‘Summary of Changes’ for the new tariff are verbiage and phone number changes, no programming required.

***** Although not listed on the ‘Summary of Changes’ page for the new tariff, these next items were coded in red – reflecting a rate change to implement.

B. Updated Accessorial Services Rates for all States – Item 400 listing of all States, Counties, Rates, etc.

C. Partial delivery weighing fee increased to 59.60 was 58.85

D. Reweigh fee increased to 59.60 was 58.85

E. Appliance increased to 18.69 was 18.45

F. All Bridge/Ferry Rates increased rates

G. Non-Temp increased to 2.99 was 2.95

H. Updated listing of PPSOs and GBLOCs effective as of this rate cycle to Item 900 to include the regionalization of Air Force PPSOs documented above in Item No 1.

I. CONUS SIT Delivery related rates increases Schedules A through R, all schedules notes as increased but truly no changes – See Change 4 below

CHANGE 1 to D-14 – effective 05/01/2008
A. Reinstated some paragraphs that were inadvertently deleted for D-13, updated Table of Contents accordingly – no programming required.

B. Item 400 – in State of South Dakota Additional Services, Updated Sit 1st day rate back to 1.41. Previously typoed as 4.41 in error.

C. Cautionary note provided on the Rate Reasonableness Rate Filing Example Table – no programming required.
