IT'S A GIRL!!!

The Daycos family would like to extend a big congratulations to Tami and Jesse Pick as they announce the arrival of their daughter, Madison Jo Pick into this world. Madison was born on Wednesday, May 21st here in Norfolk. She was a healthy 9 lbs, 2 oz. and was 22 inches long.
Tami is the Director of Human Resources here at the office. She and her husband Jesse eagerly welcome Madison into their home.

Revised DD Form 619/DD Form 619-1

Earlier this week we received notice that the DD Forms 619 and 619-1 have been revised with the following changes as indicated in the notice:

new form expiration date (May 31, 2011),
added privacy act information,
and previous editions may be used.

GAO Protest Settled

The HHGFAA announced that the GAO protest of Families First Phase II has been settled. In return for withdrawing the protest, they received the opportunity for TSPs to adjust their rates prior to the full implementation of Phase II of DPS.

Tariff updates – DOM for DS08

Our billing program and AccuBill have recently been updated with the DS08 changes found in the D-14 Solicitation that went into effect for Domestic shipments with pickup dates of 05/01/08 and after.
The changes are as follows:

DOMESTIC – New Tariff Updates (D14)
All LHS Percentages are entered into Accubill for Domestic for effective date of 05-01-2008.

DPS Roll-Out Schedule Tentatively Updated

During the SDDC Symposium last week in Orlando, Lt. Col. Carberry gave some updated information concerning the implementation schedule for DPS. They are continuing with the phased in module-by-module approach, but the delay for the recent GAO ruling has pushed their timeline back a little bit. Here are the relevant dates Lt. Col. Carberry briefed during his DPS update:

  • June 9th-13th: All modules available for the Services to perform end to end testing.
  • July 7th: JPMO-HHGS will hold a DPS
