DTOD Version 21 at DFAS – Indy
Over the last few weeks we have noticed a sharp incline in the number of short pays on DFAS-Indy shipments with pickup dates after 10/1/07 that had been submitted EDI. A large number of the short pays were due to discrepancies with the CONUS mileage being billed for the linehaul. After further review, we found the miles being used by DFAS were those of PCMiler/DTOD Version 20. We turned to DFAS to confirm the update of DTOD Version 21 had been completed as applicable in October 2007. We have received word this week from a representative of DFAS that their system had not been updated with the newest version of DTOD yet as they had not received it from SDDC. We understand that the newest version is on its way to DFAS and expected to be in house for loading in their system by the end of this week.
We are working currently with DFAS to establish a plan to recoup the short paid amounts for our billing customers as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated with any new information we receive and ask that you let us know if you have any questions.
