We received an email earlier from PowerTrack containing the following:

PowerTrack will be unavailable due to planned system maintenance from 8:00am CT until 12:00pm CT on Saturday, October 27 (2:00pm GMT until 6:00pm GMT, Saturday, October 27). …

We received email notification today from a representative of Department of State (DOS) that effective immediately they would be changing the procedures used for invoices submitted to PowerTrack (PT) for payment. The email read as follows:

Dear Carriers,
On or about October 1, 2007 I sent out an e-mail notifying you that the billing procedures for PowerTrack would be changing in approximately 3 weeks, whereby you would be required to enter your invoice in PowerTrack before our side would appear. …

Late last Friday afternoon we were advised by representatives of SDDC and PowerTrack (PT) that the problem preventing invoices from transmitting correctly between PT and CWA had been located and corrected. At that point all invoices were resent from PT to CWA. We wanted to alert you that earlier this week we noticed that invoices were not transmitting from PowerTrack (PT) to CWA as quickly as usual. Since that time, the amount of invoices being lost in transmission have increased steadily. We have alerted both the PT and CWA Help desks to the issue and are working with them to ensure that the transmission delays are resolved in a timely manner.

We have PCMiler 21.1 installed and AccuBill has been updated to be able to get miles from it. So now if you input a shipment with a pickup date on or after 10/01/07 AccuBill will automatically look up the mileage for it.…
