A few weeks back, we posted… that SDDC had released an update to the new Fuel Surcharge Policy.
In many instances, a supplemental billing is needed at this point in time in order for the carriers to obtain the full amount of surcharge due on their shipments for the mentioned period. Daycos has reviewed the invoices that have been affected by this change and devised a plan to assist our billing customers with the corrected invoices that are now needed.

As you many of you already know, DFAS-Indy has taken over the payments for Navy shipments. They are still paying using Navy’s Star system, but DFAS-Indy personnel are responsible for processing the payments.

PowerTrack released a brand new look to their User Interface (UI) earlier this week. While we have only had a few days to experience the updates, we found that most of the changes we have encountered allow the user to improve efficiency and simplify the tasks they perform in the UI.

Late last week, SDDC posted the newest update… to the Fuel Surcharge policy on the “What’s New” section of their website. While this update will benefit the industry carriers for a small span of time, it is still short of addressing the biggest concern that the industry has had with the new policy. It is our understanding that there are still ongoing attempts with SDDC to rectify the remaining issue that industry sees with the new policy, namely the issue
