Congratulations Sue & Jo!

Very rare is it when a company is able to celebrate a milestone anniversary with one of their long-time employees, but when a company has two of them within a week of each other, that is cause for celebration! The month of March marked both the 20th Anniversary of Jo Alexander and the 25th Anniversary of Sue Fuchtman!
Sue started with “John Day & Associates” on March 1, 1982. When she started with the company she was brought on as an auditor to perform our Post-Audit service that we offer to many of our customers. It was soon realized that she had a wonderful talent for talking to our customers and selling our services, and she became one of the main faces of the company that everyone was able to meet. Still today, 25 years later, Sue travels widely for Daycos. As the President of the company, Sue has gained great respect through the industry with all of her experience and knowledge, as well as with all of the friends that she has made.
When Jo started with our company on March 5, 1987, she was also brought on as an auditor in our production room. She soon started training all of our production staff, and eventually moved over to our Customer Support Department. Today she handles all of our WIP documentation, as well as all of the invoices that have been short-paid by the finance centers. After working in this industry for 20 years, Jo has definitely gained a lot of knowledge and experience! She has built strong relationships with many of our customers, helped them with any questions and issues that they may have, and has truly become a tremendous asset to have here at Daycos.
In celebration of these two milestone anniversaries, the company held a dinner in Sue and Jo’s honor on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at Dusters Restaurant. The evening was filled with many of our employees, their spouses, and a few close friends dining together, reminiscing back, and just celebrating this special occasion. In honor of Sue and Jo’s time and dedication to the company, they were each presented with a plaque, as well as had a donation made in their name to their favorite charity. There was a donation made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for $2,500 in Sue’s honor for her 25 years of service. And with all of the time and dedication that Jo puts forth for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life Event here in Norfolk, for her 20 years of service to the company, $2,000 was donated in her name to the Relay for Life.
We are very fortunate to have both Sue and Jo working for us here at Daycos. Here’s to another 20 and 25 years!

Congratulations on your service anniversaries; I am quite impressed with the years of service and even more impressed with the donations from Daycos. That is truly commendable!
Again, congratulations and I hope you enjoyed the dinner thrown in your honor. I just have to wonder if you had as much fun as I did at the dinner you threw for your convention a few years back????
