OTO Fuel Surcharge Billing Clarification

We recently approached the SDDC rates team for a clarification to the applicability of the fuel surcharge when relating to OTO shipments. Our question related to the billing of the fuel surcharge when an OTO boat rate was applicable. The following is an excerpt from the email we received from the SDDC personnel:

“There are no exceptions in the Personal Property Application of the current fuel surcharge. Therefore, TSP’s can bill the fuel surcharge based on the domestic line haul portion of the below boat OTO moves.”
