Personnel from DFAS – Norfolk, the finance office for Navy shipments, has recently advised our office that they have been instructed that they will no longer research payment requests for Navy shipments. Inquiries for payment information on Navy shipments is now to go to the DFAS – Indy customer service at (888)GBLS-PAY or Dtp.customer.service.dfas-in@dfas.mil. When doing your request it is very important that you note the following information:

It has been brought to our attention that we are receiving several requests from customers asking us to bill from copies rather than originals. As previously stated, we have no problems billing from copies of paperwork, as long as you, the carrier keep in mind, that in the event original documentation is needed to support the billing, you would be required to provide it. As well, in the event that the invoice you sent to us for billing would need…

We would like to advise our AccuBill customers that we recently removed the “BDay” from the signature field on the SF1113′s that are generated in Accubill. Because Daycos is not responsible for creating each billed line item, we feel that if we were to continue signing the invoices we would be agreeing that we believe the invoice to be accurate in the sense that each line is an applicable billed line for that shipment; since we do not review AccuBill…

Earlier this month, SDDC released the CWA Error Codes …list in the “What’s New” section of their website. The error codes list contains the error codes and descriptions for those codes that a CWA user might encounter when working their invoices within CWA/PowerTrack. In addition, the list also provides a possible cause and resolution section to assist the user in troubleshooting the error. We have started seeing a number of volume move shipments coming into our office with pickup dates beyond the expiration date give in the original awards. We have had a select number of carriers that have included a current rate sheet that shows a new expiration date of 12/31/06. We are unable to find anything on SDDC’s website to confirm that for all volume moves being sent to us, so to alleviate delays in your billing, please provide this information…
