A notice was sent out that the CWA newsletter has been updated. A change was made on page 7 to the Batch Mail process. This has been corrected to read that mailing DD 1840′s should be the 15th and 30th of the month or the last working day of the month, excluding Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays. We wanted to take a moment to share with you a couple of issues we have come across regarding Families First invoices in CWA/PowerTrack (PT) this week.
A number of invoices have been rejected in PT this week resulting from the item code updates …released by SDDC last week. PowerTrack did not receive all updates to implement into their system, which was causing the invoices to be rejected. As of late yesterday, Cheryl Garcia of USBank advised that they were

An updated item codes spreadsheet was recently released in the “What’s New” section of SDDC’s website. The update included the following changes:

Updated Item code 521K UOM from BW to FR
Updated Item code COF UOM from MV to FR
Updated Item code 507I from CF to EA…

We immediately changed our billing program and AccuBill to reflect the updates, as the UOM update to item code 521K is a long awaited fix to a PowerTrack Audit Exception issue that

We recently received the following email from SDDC advising users of the newest version of CWA to be released soon.

This email is being sent to notify you that CWA version 4.0 will be deployed on September 8. At this time CWA will be down from 1300 to 1800.

The main enhancements of the release appear to be geared towards the processing of invoices and tracking capabilities of invoices.
