In recent months, the TSP conference calls that SDDC has been holding every other week have proved to be a fairly inefficient method of communication between the participants in Phase I of Families First. SDDC and US Bank are holding a TSP Workshop to train TSP’s on how to deal with issues and problems in CWA and PowerTrack. They are gearing this towards people who are working in CWA and PowerTrack everyday, so it is not intended to be an introductory training session on those systems. We have been advised that DFAS-Norfolk and the US Coast Guard finance centers are experiencing some problems with recording and providing payment information. Both locations have recently implemented new payment software which is causing this problem.
Payments to TSP’s are not being held up due to this, but the Advise of Payment that is usually provided to the financial institutions is not complete.
